Before I could guide anyone else, I had to stop myself first. Twenty-six days of silent meditation in a temple in Thailand, at 20 years old — and there I discovered how completely disconnected from yourself you can live, without even knowing it.
That silence showed me what everyday noise hides: a capacity for listening, presence, and clarity that never actually disappeared — it was just buried.
That's what I've done ever since: hold that space so others can find, too, what's still whispering underneath the noise.
